Dear Colleagues,
I warmly invite you to attend the "8th International Workshop on Neonatal Nephrology" which follows the successful other held in the last years in Rome from 1990.
I am sure that all of us look forward to this annual appointment to discuss current issues and to bring ourselves an update on the latest in research and clinical Neonatal Nephrology.
The Meetings is open to Pediatricians-Neonatologists, Pediatric Nephrologist, Pediatric Urologist and-or Surgeons, Obstetricians, Perinatologists, Ultrasonographers.
This year's Workshop programme is divided into lectures and scientific sessions co-sponsored by the McGill University Paediatric Department, the Centre for Perinatal and Developmental Pharmacology Research, the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research, of the McGill University in Montreal.
Much time has been given over to 2 walking poster sessions, a wide oral communication session and to a special clinical case presentation session.
The saturday morning session is dedicated to the pre-and post natal diagnosis of the urinary tract abnormalities.
Finally, apart from the traditional "Antonio Sanna" Study Prize awarded by the Italian Association for Research and Care o the Neonatal Renal and Urinary Tract Sickness (AISERNUI), which will be given for 6th time, the Neonatal Nephrology Study Group will be awarding a special (1,000 USD) prize to the best scientific papear presented in the meeting. The best complete paper will be considered for such a prize.
